On April 25, an innovative greenhouse was opened in Levakand, Khatlon province, with the participation of Emomali Rakhmon, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

“Vitamins of Tajikistan” is one of the most modern greenhouses in Tajikistan. These are huge plantations of non-GMO fruits and vegetables, which can now be found not only within the country but also abroad. Temperature regimes are self-regulated in the greenhouse, mineral fertilizers and irrigation are provided by a drip irrigation system and the greenhouse is heated during the cold season by an autonomous coal-fired heating system. The system is based on a study of more than 120 greenhouses all over the world.
